Try. Believe. Live. Happy

I love quotes. I love motivation and inspiration in all forms, but I especially love the written word. My desk is covered with pick me ups and motivational sayings to get me thru any downs I may be having. I especially love these 3 right now.

Happy Friday y’all! Get out there, live your life, take chances and make things happen!

Creative Wedding Exits

Wedding exits are one of the most over looked details to a wedding, but they can make the best pictures!! Some people will do their “exits” after the ceremony but totally forget about the end of the whole thing. It’s like, what do you do…just say “Last song, and then we leave!”

Here are a few fun ideas other than bubbles and sparklers from Pinterest

SPRINKLES!!! I have a bride that is doing this, this season and I am so stoked! Think of all the color that will be everywhere!!

Glow Sticks…doesn’t have to be “Star Wars” But how fun would that be!

Glitter…every girl loves glitter!

Balloon release…I have another bride doing this next weekend…I bet it’s going to look amazing!

And for something a little fun and whacky…silly string

Estes Park Resort Wedding: Nichole & Brian

Tearing up once or twice at a wedding is pretty common for me, but choking back tears no less than 10 times is rare. Last weekend Nichole and Brian started their journey of wedding bliss and it was nothing short of amazing. They met online and dated for 6 1/2 years and he proposed while she had pink eye of all things! They have 3 beautiful children and a family made of blood and chance.

They wed at Estes Park Resort overlooking the lake with a breath taking view of the mountains, followed by some booty shaking and photo booth fun at the reception. Julie with Classic Creations helped to design Nichole’s vision for the day and make sure everything ran smooth (which it did!). The cake and mixed deserts by Cake Captivations Bakery looked and smelled amazing (I’m on a diet-no cake for me booo). Statice Floral Design did a fantastic job on the flowers…they were gorgeous (and heavy) and lasted well thru the entire day! For Nichole’s make up and hair-Bella Capelli Hair Studio came to the hotel to beautify the ladies (not that they needed it!)
